The Jewellery Quarter continues to prove why it’s one of Birmingham’s most vibrant and creative districts. We’re thrilled to share that four amazing local names have been shortlisted as finalists for the Birmingham Awards 2025 – celebrating the very best of our city.
Bar/Pub of the Year: Temper and Brown & Indian Brewery
Temper and Brown – Known for its chic interiors and curated drinks menu, this stylish bar has quickly become a go-to spot for craft cocktails and late-night conversations.
Indian Brewery – A Birmingham favourite serving up fresh beer brewed onsite and Indian street-food classics. Their Jewellery Quarter taproom is always buzzing with energy, offering an unforgettable night out.
Festival/Event of the Year: The Jewellery Quarter Festival
We are beyond proud that our very own Jewellery Quarter Festival has been nominated for Festival/Event of the Year!
This summer marked the Festival’s 10th anniversary, with Golden Square, St. Paul’s Square, and the surrounding streets coming alive with:
- Live music and performances
- Artisan markets and street food
- Heritage tours and special museum openings
- Creative workshops and family-friendly fun
Being shortlisted is a huge testament to the community spirit and hard work of everyone who helps bring this annual celebration to life.
Charity of the Year: Living Well Consortium (grounded.)
Finally, Living Well Consortium has been recognised in the Charity of the Year category. Their work supporting mental health and wellbeing across Birmingham has had a profound impact — offering free and affordable counselling, community workshops, and holistic mental health support to those who need it most.
