This summer, Sonny’s Jewellers marked a decade of dedication to craftsmanship, community and excellence and chose to celebrate in a deeply meaningful way. On 28th August 2025, at the lush Birmingham Botanical Gardens, Sonny’s hosted a spectacular “Summer Carnival” gala to commemorate 10 years in business and raise funds for Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
More than 200 guests came together for an unforgettable evening of street-style food, live music, carnival-inspired entertainment, and heartfelt community spirit. The event was about more than celebration; it was about gratitude and giving back.
As Sonny’s founder put it: “This evening was about more than celebrating 10 years of Sonny’s. It was about recognising the people and community that have been with us on this journey and giving something back.”
Thanks to the generosity of attendees, sponsors, and supporters, Sonny’s raised over £40,000 for Birmingham Children’s Hospital. Last week, representatives from Sonny’s visited the hospital, met the team, toured the facilities, and made the donation in person.
This isn’t Sonny’s first collaboration with the hospital either, the jeweller previously supported the charity by participating in a dragon-boat race. This summer’s milestone event builds on that commitment, underscoring Sonny’s long-standing dedication to supporting local causes and giving back to the community that has supported its growth.
