UCB Guild of Students, the students’ union for over 10,000 students at University College Birmingham is inviting JQBID members to join us for Welcome Fest 2025: the flagship welcome event for new/returning students where we showcase the support and opportunities on offer from across Birmingham.
Two events are being run for students this September:
- Thursday 4 September 2025 for college-level students
- Thursday 25 September 2025 for degree-level students
UCB Guild of Students is an independent charity that exists to combat loneliness, offer support to students, and help them make the most their time in Birmingham. To invest in this charitable work, we raise funds throughout the year through paid advertising partnerships, and we are thrilled to offer 50% off our promotional services to all JQBID members, including Welcome Fest promotional stalls, until 30 June 2026. Every penny raised will be reinvested into helping us support students and the wider community.
As always, a number of Welcome Fest stalls are also available at no cost for non-commercial organisations offering support services or volunteering opportunities.
