Temper & Brown is delighted to announce the opening of Allendale Café, a new independent café now welcoming customers in the heart of Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.
Open Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00am until 3:00pm, Allendale Café offers a relaxed daytime experience centred around classic breakfast and brunch dishes, speciality coffee and freshly prepared lunches in the welcoming surroundings of Temper & Brown.
Leading the café is Michael, who brings more than 25 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. Throughout his career, he has developed a reputation for warm service, quality ingredients and creating welcoming spaces where customers can relax over great food and coffee.
The menu celebrates timeless breakfast and brunch favourites alongside freshly prepared sandwiches and seasonal dishes. Guests can enjoy classics such as Eggs Royale with smoked salmon and hollandaise, the hearty Allendale Breakfast Plate featuring sausages, bacon, eggs and potato hash, or indulgent Homemade Pancakes served with maple syrup, fresh berries and whipped vanilla mascarpone. Lunchtime favourites include Allendale’s Club Sandwich, stacked with grilled chicken, bacon and spiced mango mayonnaise, as well as the Chicken Caesar Salad and a rotating homemade seasonal soup.
Complementing the food is a selection of expertly prepared coffees, speciality teas and fresh juices, making Allendale Café an ideal destination whether you’re grabbing breakfast before work, meeting friends for brunch or enjoying a leisurely lunch.
The partnership brings together two independent Birmingham businesses with a shared passion for quality food, excellent coffee and genuine hospitality. While Temper & Brown has become known as one of the Jewellery Quarter’s favourite neighbourhood bars, Allendale Café extends the venue’s offering into the daytime, creating a welcoming space for local residents, office workers and visitors alike.
